PT100 RTD Testing Kit
A handheld PT100 RTD simulator with 10 calibration points from −50°C to 400°C, for testing temperature instruments in the field.
Problem
Temperature transmitters, controllers and data loggers need a known PT100 reference to be checked. Without one, technicians cannot quickly tell whether a fault lies in the sensor, the wiring or the instrument.
Solution
We designed a compact RTD test kit that simulates a PT100 sensor at 10 fixed points — −50, 0, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 and 400°C. Connect it, select a point and confirm the instrument reads correctly, with over-temperature safety monitoring built in.
