Pinless Moisture Meter
A handheld pinless moisture meter for wood that measures moisture content beneath the surface quickly, without damaging the material or leaving marks.
Problem
Pin-type moisture meters have to be driven into the wood to take a reading, leaving holes in finished timber, furniture and flooring — and every spot check means another mark on material that is meant to be sold or installed.
Solution
We designed a pinless meter that reads moisture content non-destructively from beneath the surface. A simple three-button interface (SET, ON, MOD) switches between dedicated Hardwood and Softwood modes, with Auto Calibrate and Offset modes to keep readings consistent from one job to the next.
